ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Nicole Joseph-Chin is the Founding Director of Ms. Brafit LLC and is widely regarded as the Caribbean’s expert in Bra and Mastectomy Fitting with more than 7 years experience in the field of Professional Post Surgical Services to women who are in treatment for or have recovered from Breast Cancer.

Nicole is US Board Certified and received the highest training in Post Mastectomy Care and Prosthetic Fittings from renowned Post Surgical Care locations in the United States and Europe.

Her involvement of Post Surgical Care in the Caribbean has seen Ms. Brafit operating in Trinidad and St. Lucia while Nicole has provided her expertise to women spanning from Guyana in South America to Florida in North America.

Nicole volunteers with many Non Governmental Organizations in the Caribbean and Internationally including Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society, St. Lucia Cancer Society and American Cancer Society along with several other support groups throughout the length and breadth of the Island.

Nicole’s programme Beauty Beyond the Bruises © is a Post Surgical Image Management Workshop which caters to Post Surgical women and encourages them to strive towards recovery in a holistic manner and is tailored to the Caribbean environment.

Her passion for encouraging women to excel beyond their challenges is evident in every aspect of her work and this carefully prepared journal is no exception.
